CHRISTINE MORRISROE
Chris Morrisroe is a Communications Professional who has successfully managed strategies in all aspects of communications for over 27 years.
Morrisroe began her career at JL Hudson's Department Stores (now Macy's) holding positions in buying, distribution, public relations and special events. Her years at Hudson's gave her the opportunity to foster media relationships and develop and execute many high profile celebrity appearances including Elizabeth Taylor, Cher, Muhammad Ali and others.She also played a major role in large community events such as Fash Bash at the Fox Theatre and the Hudson's Freedom Festival Fireworks in Downtown Detroit.
After leaving Hudson's, Morrisroe's retail experience went on to include the introduction of a new store format for Frank's Nursery & Crafts and creating communication departments for Art Van Furniture.
Chris' career took two departures from retail: 1) She was a member of an executive team that created and operated Small Times Media, a media company promoting small technologies, and; 2) Chris was the manager of the newly formed Sustainability Communications position for the Public Affairs Department at Ford Motor Company.
